Summary
We're seeking a skilled carpenter to join our team. As a carpenter, you'll be responsible for constructing fences, gazebos, benches, plant boxes and other outdoor structures, and repairing structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and wallboard. You will be installing doors and door hardware. If you have experience working with various tools and materials, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities
- Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and wallboard
- Measure and mark cutting lines on materials using a ruler, pencil, chalk, and marking gauge
- Install structures and fixtures, such as doors. fences. benches gazebos, trim, or hardware, such as locks, hinges, and handles
- Inspect and replace damaged framework or other structures and fixtures
Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in carpentry
- Proficient in using power tools and hand tools
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
- Knowledge of building codes and regulations
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Job Type: Fixed term contract
Pay: $24.00-$35.00 per hour
