Northern Touch Property Care is seeking an organized, dependable, and hands-on Field Operations Manager to oversee our window cleaning, restoration, and exterior maintenance projects throughout the GTA. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing field crews, conducting site inspections, ensuring quality control, coordinating schedules, and maintaining strong relationships with property managers and clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Operations & Project Management
Coordinate and oversee daily field operations and technician schedules.
Conduct site visits before, during, and after projects.
Ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and according to company standards.
Monitor project progress and provide updates to management.
Assist in planning labour, equipment, and material requirements for upcoming projects.
Respond to site issues and implement solutions in a timely manner.
Verify completion of work and address deficiencies as required.
Quality Control
Perform regular inspections of completed work.
Ensure all services meet company and client expectations.
Document project progress with photos and reports.
Follow up on resident and client concerns and coordinate corrective actions when required.
Client Relations
Serve as a primary field contact for property managers, superintendents, and site staff.
Attend site meetings and inspections with clients.
Maintain professional communication with customers and stakeholders.
Assist with project walkthroughs and service recommendations.
Health & Safety
Ensure crews comply with company safety policies and procedures.
Conduct toolbox talks and safety meetings.
Verify that all required safety equipment is available and being used properly.
Assist with incident investigations and safety documentation.
Monitor compliance with WSIB, Ministry of Labour, and company requirements.
Team Leadership
Supervise field technicians and crew leaders.
Train and mentor new employees.
Monitor employee performance and productivity.
Assist with hiring, onboarding, and performance evaluations.
Foster a positive and professional work environment.
Qualifications:
Required
3+ years of experience in construction, building maintenance, restoration, property services, or a related field.
Previous supervisory or management experience.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
Ability to work independently and make decisions in the field.
Valid Ontario G Driver's License with a clean driving record.
Ability to read project scopes, inspection reports, and work orders.
Preferred
Experience managing high-rise or suspended access projects.
Knowledge of exterior building maintenance, waterproofing, caulking, restoration, or window cleaning.
Working at Heights certification.
First Aid / CPR certification.
Experience dealing with condominium property managers and boards.
Familiarity with WSIB, MOL requirements, and construction safety practices.
