Responsibilities
- Safely operate a taxi vehicle to transport passengers to their destinations within designated areas.
- Greet passengers warmly and assist with boarding, ensuring comfort and safety throughout the ride.
- Maintain a clean and well-maintained vehicle, adhering to all safety and cleanliness standards.
- Manage fare collection accurately using cash handling procedures or electronic payment systems.
- Plan routes efficiently to optimize travel time and fuel consumption.
- Follow all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies to ensure passenger safety.
- Communicate effectively with passengers regarding routes or any delays, providing excellent customer service.
- Keep accurate records of trips, fares, and mileage as required by company policies.
Experience
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Prior experience in driving, especially commercial driving or taxi services, is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided if necessary.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle diverse passenger needs professionally.
- Excellent time management skills to ensure punctuality for pickups and drop-offs.
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and securely.
- Knowledge of local streets, traffic patterns, and navigation tools is advantageous.
