We are growing and bringing Purdys to the Maritimes! This is an exciting opportunity to launch a brand-new shop and introduce customers to our premium chocolates and exceptional customer experience.

About the Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven Shop Manager to lead our new shop in Mic Mac Mall. The start date is expected to be early/mid August for the expected shop opening in September.
As a brand champion in a new market, you will play a key role in building awareness of Purdys, creating memorable customer experiences, and establishing a high-performing retail team.
Your success will come from your ability to connect with customers, inspire your team, and drive results in a fast-paced retail environment.
This is a full-time contract position requiring open availability (days, evenings, weekends, and holidays).
You will have the opportunity to:
- Drive sales performance and achieve profit targets
- Lead day-to-day shop operations with efficiency and excellence
- Recruit, interview, and hire top talent
- Build, coach, and develop a strong retail team
- Manage scheduling and team performance
- Acting as a liaison between the shop and the Purdys Support Office
- Championing Purdys’ values, culture, and customer obsessed service
- Maintain inventory levels to support daily operations
You will be a good fit if you have:
- Minimum 2+ years of progressive management experience in retail or hospitality
- A passion for chocolate and premium products
- Strong sales focus and results-driven mindset
- A commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences
- Energy, positivity, and a love for connecting with people
