Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of hair styling services including cuts, color, highlights, perms, and treatments tailored to client preferences.
- Provide exceptional customer service by listening carefully to clients’ needs and offering professional recommendations.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all work areas, tools, and equipment to ensure a safe environment.
- Engage in retail sales by recommending hair care products and upselling additional services to enhance client experience.
- Manage front desk duties such as greeting clients, scheduling appointments, and handling payments efficiently.
- Build strong relationships with clients through effective communication skills, ensuring repeat business and positive reviews.
- Stay updated on the latest hair trends and techniques through ongoing education and training opportunities.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Hair Stylist with a strong portfolio of work.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
- Knowledge of sanitation standards and best practices in a salon setting.
- Ability to upsell retail products effectively while maintaining genuine client relationships.
- Strong communication skills to understand client needs and provide personalized recommendations.
- Experience with retail sales and front desk operations is preferred but not required.
- A valid cosmetology license or certification as required by state regulations.
- A friendly, professional demeanor with a passion for helping clients look and feel their best.
Pay: $15.00-$20.00 per hour
