Overview
We are seeking an experienced Line Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for food preparation, cooking, and delivering consistent, quality meals. Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
- Assist in food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and assembling ingredients
- Ensure all food is handled safely and stored properly in compliance with food safety regulations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area throughout shifts
- Monitor food quality during service and make adjustments as needed
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service and customer satisfaction
- Follow all health and safety guidelines related to food handling and sanitation
Skills
- Proven experience in serving, food preparation, and cooking within a restaurant or food service setting
- Strong knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety standards
- Ability to perform meal preparation efficiently under pressure during busy hours
- Excellent understanding of kitchen operations and food industry practices
- Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment
- Knowledge of various cooking techniques and culinary terminology
