Victoria Hyundai is currently seeking an enthusiastic, full-time Receptionist to join our growing team in our new state-of-the-art dealership and building in Langford.
We’re looking for someone with excellent communication, a team-first attitude, and proficient technical skills. You’ll manage front desk reception, support daily administrative tasks, and create a welcoming experience for every customer while staying organized and efficient.
This is a full-time Monday to Friday position with the expected working hours of 9am - 5pm.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the multi-line switchboard which includes answering, screening and forwarding the calls in a timely and accurate manner
- Greet incoming customers and guests in a professional manner, ensuring they have an appropriate contact
- Manage multiple inboxes which includes forwarding email requests to appropriate contacts
- Miscellaneous Administration duties and clerical support
- Ordering of supplies
- Administer the phone and paging system, including coordination of repairs and adjustments
- Prepare correspondence and documents
- Control inventory relevant to reception area
- Tidy and maintain the reception area
- Additional administrative tasks and projects, as required
- Tidy and maintain file room
- Organize all paper documents
- File accordingly and with discretion
- Must be self motivated and be able to work with minimal supervision
- Other duties as they arise
Who you are:
- Minimum academic credentials: High School Diploma
- Minimum of 1 years’ previous reception experience
- Professional personal presentation
- Previous office-related experience is an asset
- Strong customer focus; positive, approachable, adaptable and flexible
- Knowledge of a multi-line phone system is considered an asset
- Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures
- Exceptional interpersonal skills (manage relationships and build networks)
- Good prioritizing, multi-tasking, and decision making skills
- Detail oriented, perceptive and observant
- Verbal and written communication skills
- High degree of professionalism, discretion and confidentiality
- Strong computer application skills (MS Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Reliable with entrepreneurial work ethic
- Must have the legal right to work in Canada
