Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Counter Manager to oversee retail operations at our location in Prairie,. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing daily store activities, driving sales, and providing exceptional customer service. This role requires strong organizational skills, sales expertise, and the ability to lead a team to meet and exceed performance goals. The Counter Manager will also be involved in product demonstrations, merchandising, and ensuring a welcoming environment for all customers.
Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate the retail team to achieve sales targets through effective upselling and customer engagement.
- Manage daily store operations, including cashiering, POS transactions, and inventory control.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, offering product demos, and assisting with makeup application when applicable.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and perform basic math calculations for sales and returns.
- Maintain organized merchandising displays that align with brand standards and promotional campaigns.
- Conduct product knowledge training sessions to enhance team expertise in retail sales and product features.
- Ensure the front desk area is welcoming and well-maintained, creating a positive shopping experience.
- Utilize strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members across multiple languages if applicable.
- Assist with inventory management, stock replenishment, and visual merchandising updates.
- Support the execution of promotional events and special product launches.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service roles is preferred.
- Proficiency with POS systems and cash handling procedures.
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse customer needs.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
- Knowledge of makeup application or beauty products is desirable but not required.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in merchandising and stock management.
- Ability to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of service.
- Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to motivate team members toward achieving sales goals.
Pay: From $65,000.00 per year
