Overview
We are seeking a skilled Mobile Truck / Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of heavy machinery and vehicles, including trucks, excavators, cranes, forklifts, and farm machinery. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, experience with automotive repair, and the ability to work efficiently in a dynamic environment. Prior dealership experience and familiarity with industrial equipment are highly valued. Duties
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, and highway trucks / trailers.
- Diagnose mechanical issues using schematics and electrical testing tools
- Conduct welding and fabrication tasks as needed for repairs or modifications
- Operate power tools and hand tools safely to disassemble and reassemble machinery components
- Troubleshoot electrical systems and perform electrical repairs on industrial equipment
- Use heavy lifting techniques and equipment to move parts or machinery safely
- Maintain detailed service records and ensure all work complies with safety standards
- Assist with the installation of new equipment or assembly of machinery components
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating repair status and recommendations effectively
Experience
- Proven mechanic experience with heavy trucks and industrial equipment
- Dealership experience is preferred but not required
- Hands-on experience working with HVAC systems, A/C trouble shooting, Webasto and Eberspacher 12V heaters is a beneficial asset.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, schematics, electrical wiring, and power tools
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and operate heavy equipment when necessary
- Experience with welding, fabrication, and assembly of mechanical parts
- Familiarity with automotive repair techniques applicable to heavy-duty vehicles
- Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a customer service-oriented approach

Pay: $46.89-$55.31 per hour
