Analyst / Senior Analyst– Corporate Finance
A career within Deals Corporate Finance will provide the opportunity to deliver innovative deal solutions to our clients,
providing advice and support, from initiation through to deal completion. In short, we’re a part of helping some of the
world’s leading companies across industries originate, create, execute, and realise value from deals. Through data driven
insights we help our clients move in the right direction ensuring maximum value for their business.

Responsibilities
As a part of the team, you will provide high quality valuation, M&A and financial advisory outcomes for clients ranging
from small businesses through to high profile corporate clients and public sector entities.

You’ll assist our clients with a range of tasks including:
Business and share valuations across many different sectors and for multiple purposes
Building Microsoft Excel based financial models and model testing
Preparing materials and providing support for M&A transactions
Undertaking feasibility and business case assessments for projects of scale and significance
Delivering insightful conclusions and recommendations using data and analytics
Evaluating interesting investment propositions through analytical and due diligence assignments
Contributing to a wide range of other varied assignments helping clients solve problems

This role will offer a significant amount of variety, diversity and opportunity for long term development and advancement.
This role is all about delivering pragmatic advice to our clients across a range of complex business issues.

To be a preferred candidate for this opportunity you will:
Be able to demonstrate strong business acumen and personal ambition
Ideally, have 1-3 years of previous experience in the accounting, finance or banking sectors
Have a relevant tertiary qualification
Have strong excel modelling skills
Be able to demonstrate a working familiarity with accounting and economics concepts.
Possess strong relationship management skills as well as superb communications skills – both verbal and written to communicate technical information in a clear, concise manner.
