About the Role:
We're seeking passionate and energetic Dance Instructor to join our team and share the joy of dance with students of all ages (4-18). In this role, you'll design and deliver engaging lesson plans, choreograph exciting routines, and create a dynamic learning environment where students can develop their technique, creativity, and confidence. Responsibilities:
- Instruction: * Teach a variety of dance styles to students ages 4-18 (Acrobatics, Tap, Hip Hop, Ballet, Lyrical, Contemporary, Jazz).
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with our curriculum and cater to different age groups and skill levels.
- Choreography & Music Editing: * Create innovative and age-appropriate choreography for class routines and performances.
- Select and edit music for dance routines.
- Classroom Management: * Create and maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel safe, supported, and inspired.
- Communication: * Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding their child's progress and any studio updates.
- Teamwork: * Collaborate with other instructors and studio staff to create a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
- Professionalism: * Maintain a professional demeanor and adhere to studio policies and procedures.
Must Haves
- Dance experience and expertise in one or more of the following styles: Acrobatics, Hip Hop, Ballet, Lyrical, Contemporary, Jazz, Preschool Dance
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to be professional while also friendly, upbeat and welcoming.
- Love working with and around children of all ages.
