Art Factree is an immersive art experience store designed to ignite inspiration, foster creativity, and engage individuals in various forms of artistic expression. We are currently in search of a Store Manager to join the team at our store at CF Rideau Centre.

As Store Manager you will be responsible for facilitating and supervising daily operations at our store to ensure that employees work together effectively to maintain a creative atmosphere and experience within the store
Experience in a Department store/mall environment required.
Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate a high degree of customer service, fostering a welcoming and supportive atmosphere for customers.
- Supervise, train and assist employees in customer service, store maintenance and product promotions.
- Hire and train employees as needed to ensure adequate personnel is on hand to provide outstanding customer service.
- Develop and maintain an effective work schedule for employees
- Seek ways to better promote the store, its products and services
- Demonstrate the appropriate level of selling skills to positively impact conversion.
- Drive sales by engaging with customers, upselling products and services, and sharing product knowledge.
- Maintain proper inventory levels, ensure stocking, conduct regular stock checks, implement purchasing plans and maintain contact with suppliers.
- Manage all controllable costs with a view to maintaining profitability.
- Ensure the store remains clean and presentable at all times.
- Develop sales strategies and promotional campaigns to drive revenue.
Requirements:
- Genuine passion for art and creativity.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Background or education in art or a related field considered an asset
- 2-3 years of retail operations, sales and customer service experience in a similar environment.
- Experience as a Department or Assistant Manager considered an asset.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent problem solving, attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Effective communication, planning and implementation skills
- Proven ability to achieve sales targets.
- Ability to recognize and execute selling opportunities while creating customer experiences that makes them want to come back.
- Ability to multitask, while being attentive to customers and remaining flexible to the needs of the business.
- Enthusiastic, friendly and energetic with a genuine desire to provide outstanding service.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods of time.
- Ability to work in a dynamic retail store setting.
- Available to work weekdays, weekends and holidays (general mall hours).
- Adhere to all health & safety and security procedures.
- Proactive in-store planning skills

- Willingness to continuously learn, grow, and stay updated on current trends
