Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating a forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise within a warehouse environment.
Duties
- Operate a forklift to move materials around the warehouse
- Perform routine pre and post inspections on forklift equipment
- Load and unload products from trailers or containers
- Stack and store merchandise in the appropriate areas
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Assist in other warehouse duties as needed
Requirements
- Experience operating a forklift and other warehouse equipment
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical labor
- Proficiency in order picking and distribution processes
- Basic math skills for inventory counts
- Mechanical knowledge for equipment maintenance
- Certification in operating a forklift is a plus
- Experience with clamp trucks or order pickers is advantageous
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $17.94-$22.41 per hour
