Overview
AEGIS Law is seeking a motivated and client-focused Sales & Call Centre Representative to support our client intake, consultation coordination, lead follow-up, and client relationship management.
This role serves as an important first point of contact for prospective and existing clients. The successful candidate will handle incoming inquiries, collect preliminary information, identify client needs, coordinate appropriate follow-up, and maintain ongoing communication with prospective and existing clients.
This position combines customer service, sales, client intake, lead conversion, and relationship management. Comprehensive training will be provided by the firm regarding our services, intake procedures, internal processes, and client communication standards.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Answering incoming consultation calls and responding to prospective client inquiries in a professional and timely manner;
- Serving as the first point of contact for new and prospective clients;
- Collecting preliminary information regarding clients' needs and inquiries using the firm's established intake procedures;
- Identifying the appropriate practice area or internal team for further follow-up;
- Scheduling consultations and coordinating communication between prospective clients and lawyers or other legal professionals;
- Following up with prospective clients after initial inquiries and consultations;
- Maintaining regular communication with leads and supporting the conversion of qualified inquiries into clients;
- Explaining the firm's general services, consultation processes, administrative procedures, and next steps to prospective clients;
- Assisting with client onboarding and ensuring required information and documents are collected and properly forwarded;
- Maintaining and developing relationships with existing and prospective clients;
- Conducting outbound follow-up calls where appropriate;
- Managing client and lead information accurately within the firm's internal systems;
- Tracking follow-up activities, client status, consultation outcomes, and other relevant information;
- Working closely with lawyers, legal assistants, management, and administrative staff to ensure effective client handoff and follow-up;
- Supporting client retention and client relationship initiatives;
- Identifying potential business opportunities and client service needs;
- Meeting individual and team performance objectives relating to client response, follow-up, service quality, and sales conversion; and
- Performing other client service, sales, and administrative duties as assigned.
Important Scope of the Role
This is a sales, client service, and intake position.
The Sales & Call Centre Representative does not provide legal advice, assess the legal merits of a matter, or represent clients. Questions requiring legal analysis or professional legal advice must be referred to the appropriate lawyer or licensed legal professional.
Qualifications
Required:
- Fluency in English and Mandarin Chinese, with strong verbal communication skills in both languages;
- Strong telephone communication and interpersonal skills;
- Demonstrated ability to communicate professionally with prospective and existing clients;
- Strong customer service and relationship-building skills;
- Sales-oriented mindset with the ability to identify client needs and conduct effective follow-up;
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail;
- Ability to manage multiple inquiries, leads, follow-ups, and priorities simultaneously;
- Ability to maintain accurate client and lead records;
- Professional judgment and discretion when handling confidential or sensitive information;
- Comfortable working in a performance-driven environment involving client conversion and follow-up; and
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
Preference will be given to candidates with:
- Extensive sales, business development, customer service, account management, or client relationship management experience;
- Previous call centre, inbound sales, outbound sales, or lead conversion experience;
- Experience managing a large volume of prospective and existing clients;
- Experience with CRM systems, lead tracking, or client management platforms;
- Previous experience working in a law firm, legal services company, professional services firm, or other client-focused professional environment;
- Legal education, legal administrative experience, or familiarity with legal services;
- Experience in client intake or consultation coordination; and
- Ability to communicate in Cantonese in addition to English and Mandarin.

We are particularly interested in candidates who combine strong sales ability with professional client service skills. Candidates with established experience in sales, customer relationship management, client operations, or the legal industry will receive priority consideration.
Pay: From $17.60 per hour
