About the Role
WeVend is looking for a Junior Product & Project Manager to support the delivery of secure, reliable, and scalable unattended payment solutions. This role sits at the intersection of product management, project coordination, software delivery, hardware integration, and payments operations.
You will help translate customer, business, and operational needs into clear requirements, user stories, delivery plans, and launch-ready documentation. Working closely with product, engineering, QA, operations, compliance, vendors, and customers, you will help keep initiatives organized, blockers visible, and product delivery moving forward across unattended environments such as vending, kiosks, laundry, EV charging, parking, retail terminals, and other self-service applications.
What You’ll Do
Product Management
· Support product discovery, planning, and execution for WeVend’s unattended payments platform, including payment applications, terminal workflows, cloud services, reporting tools, and customer-facing features
· Write clear product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, workflow notes, and release documentation in collaboration with product, engineering, QA, and operations
· Gather and organize input from customers, internal stakeholders, support teams, and vendors to help define product scope, priorities, and success criteria
· Review usage data, support trends, transaction issues, and customer feedback to identify product gaps, operational risks, and improvement opportunities
· Help maintain product backlogs, roadmap inputs, status trackers, and delivery documentation so teams have a shared view of scope, priorities, and progress
Project Management
· Coordinate project plans, sprint activities, milestone tracking, action items, and follow-ups across product, engineering, QA, operations, compliance, and external partners
· Track delivery timelines, dependencies, risks, and blockers, escalating issues early and helping teams stay aligned on next steps
· Prepare meeting agendas, project updates, decision logs, release notes, implementation checklists, and stakeholder communications
· Support release readiness by coordinating testing, documentation, deployment planning, customer enablement, and post-launch issue tracking
Payments & Domain Expertise
· Develop working knowledge of WeVend’s unattended payment ecosystem, including Android-based terminals, payment applications, cloud-connected services, merchant tools, reporting, and third-party integrations
· Support payment-related initiatives involving card acceptance, contactless payments, terminal configuration, transaction flows, settlement, reversals, refunds, reporting, certification, and compliance readiness
· Help document and communicate requirements for unattended use cases where reliability, low-touch operations, hardware constraints, payment security, and customer experience are critical
What We’re Looking For
Required
· 1–3 years of experience in product management, project coordination, business analysis, technical delivery, payments, fintech, software, or a related role
· Strong organization and follow-through, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams, track details, and keep stakeholders aligned
· Understanding of software delivery practices, including agile workflows, sprint planning, backlog management, user stories, acceptance criteria, QA testing, and release coordination
· Interest in payments, fintech, hardware-enabled software, unattended retail, vending, kiosks, laundry, EV charging, parking, transit, or related self-service environments
· Ability to write clear requirements, meeting notes, project updates, action items, decision logs, and customer-facing documentation
· Comfort working with data, reports, issue trackers, transaction logs, support tickets, and operational feedback to support decisions and identify trends
· Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical or operational topics clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
· Proficiency with productivity, documentation, and project tracking tools such as Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Office, Teams, Excel, and AI-assisted research or documentation tools
Nice to Have
· Exposure to payment terminals, Android-based devices, embedded systems, hardware integrations, or cloud-connected device management
· Familiarity with payment concepts such as EMV, contactless, tokenization, gateway integrations, PCI, certification, settlement, refunds, or chargebacks
· Experience supporting product launches, customer pilots, UAT coordination, release planning, implementation checklists, or post-launch support tracking
· Experience creating process flows, workflow diagrams, training guides, product documentation, customer onboarding materials, or internal knowledge base articles
· Experience in a startup, scale-up, fintech, payments, or unattended technology environment
Ideal Candidate Profile
This role is ideal for someone early in their product or project management career who is highly organized, curious, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with both technical and business teams. The right candidate can turn ambiguity into clear next steps, keep delivery moving, and learn quickly in a fast-paced payments and hardware-enabled software environment.
