Pizza & Panuozzi Artisan (Pizzaiolo/a) – Pizza Carmelina
We are looking for a skilled and passionate Pizza & Panuozzi Artisan to join the team at Pizza Carmelina in Stouffville. As a key member of our kitchen, you will be responsible for crafting authentic, high-quality dough from scratch and preparing our signature panuozzi using traditional Italian techniques.

Key Responsibilities
- Dough Preparation: Execute daily dough production, including mixing, proofing, and managing fermentation cycles to ensure consistent quality and flavor.
- Artisan Craftsmanship: Shape, stretch, and bake pizza and panuozzi according to our established recipes and standards.
- Quality Control: Maintain high standards of ingredient preparation and food presentation.
- Kitchen Operations: Work closely with our head chef to maintain an efficient, clean, and organized workstation.
- Equipment Maintenance: Properly operate and maintain ovens and kitchen equipment to ensure safety and longevity.
Qualifications
- Experience: Proven experience in a professional kitchen, specifically in pizza preparation.
- Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of hydration levels, flour types, and fermentation processes.
- Passion: A genuine love for Italian culinary traditions and a dedication to serving high-quality, authentic food.
- Italian Language Skills: Preference will be given to candidates who speak Italian, as it aligns with our restaurant's culture and heritage.
- Team Player: Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced environment and communicate well with the rest of the kitchen staff.
