1858 Caesar Bar is North America’s first Caesar-focused bar concept, a growing brand built around Canada’s most iconic cocktail. We’re rooted in Collingwood and expanding across Ontario and beyond. We’re looking for a sharp, driven General Manager to lead our Collingwood location and grow with us.
The Role
You’ll own the day-to-day operation of our Collingwood flagship from floor leadership and team development to guest experience, financial performance, and brand standards. This isn’t a clock-in, clock-out management job. You’ll be hands-on, visible, and invested in building something worth being proud of.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
- Leading and developing a high-performing front-of-house team
- Driving revenue through exceptional guest experience and consistent execution
- Managing scheduling, labour costs, and daily operational performance
- Upholding and enforcing 1858 brand and service standards
- Handling inventory, ordering, and supplier relationships
- Resolving guest concerns with professionalism and speed
- Supporting marketing activations, seasonal programming, and local promotions
- Representing 1858 at trade shows, brand events, and community functions
- Collaborating with ownership on strategic initiatives and growth planning
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a restaurant or bar management role
- Proven ability to lead a team and build a positive, accountable culture
- Strong understanding of hospitality operations, labour, COGS, guest experience
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
- Valid driver’s licence and reliable personal vehicle
- Willingness to travel within Ontario for events, tradeshows, and brand activations
- Smart Serve certification (or willingness to obtain)
- A genuine passion for hospitality you take pride in the details
Bonus Points If You Have
- Experience in a franchise, multi-location, or branded concept
- Cocktail or craft beverage knowledge
- Experience with POS systems, scheduling software, and basic P&L reporting
Compensation & Perks
- Base salary: $60,000–$80,000 depending on experience
