The Signature/Key Holder will be expected to work in partnership with the Store Manager and Head Office Management Team and will play an important part in the effective operations of the store. The Signature / Key Holder will support the Store Manger to ensure the overall smooth operations. He/she will have to act as the Manager in his/her absence.

The Signature/Key Holder must assist the manager with the following duties and carry them out in the absence of the Store Manager

Staff Management
Assist the manager in providing and delivering training to the Store Team on Thomas Sabo products
Assist with the coaching the Team on selling techniques as well as administration duties
Support and nurture positive communication and team work
Support the Store Manager by ensuring the Team follows the in-store Dress Code
Ensure that the Team members are aware of any information that is sent from the office; Company news, promotions, sales goals, policy & procedures, etc.
To conduct “chat ins” at the beginning of each team members shift to ensure they are aware of their sales goals, promotions, tasks, etc.

Admin Duties
Support with daily administration of paperwork for; sales and staff
Ensure that POS system is implemented and used efficiently by all team members
Ensure that the Time and Attendance Module via Harmony is used as a clock in/out daily for all team members
Support with the organization and management of inventories
Make sure that all stock received is counted and accepted in a timely manner
Daily ongoing maintenance of the product, packaging and back room

Store Management
In the absence of Manager, manage cash and payment systems in accordance with company procedures and polices
Responsible for the daily management of the till during all supervisor led shifts
Assist the Store Manager in the stores overall maintenance i.e. ( ensuring jewelry is in pristine condition and merchandised as per VM guidelines)

Liaise with the Canadian office, in the absence of the manager for any support, etc.
Ensure the proper procedures are being utilized in regards to credit cards, gift cards, etc. in order to avoid fraudulent transactions
Manage cash and payment systems in accordance with company procedures and polices
Ensure that the safe policy is followed by relevant staff for daily deposits

Customer Service
Support the THOAS SABO “5 steps to selling”
Project a “lead by example” style when greeting and working with clients
Utilize trays when showing jewelry items
Follow up with team member to ensure we are only showing 3 pieces of high price pointed items to be able to keep track of what’s being shown and discourage theft
Ensure that you and your team provide all customers with the ‘Thomas Sabo experience’

We are looking for an individual who:

Has min 2 year experience in the jewelry field is an asset but not essential

Must speak Cantonese or Mandarin

Has a proven track record of selling luxury goods

Has exceptional sales and negotiation skills

Is able to build and establish long term customer relationships

Has very good analytical skills and is extremely confident when working with numbers and reports

Has an understanding of luxury, design and premium lifestyle
