Spectrum Industrial Automatics Ltd sells, overhauls, repairs and services Allison Transmissions, working on a wide variety of Medium/Heavy Duty Vehicles and drilling/service rigs. If you are looking for a career. We offer continuous product training. The job duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
NOTE: For apprentice's going for their heavy duty ticket we cannot sign off on books, we are looking for people that want a career in Allison Transmissions
-Learning to overhaul and test Allison Transmissions
-Supporting and fostering a positive team environment
-Supporting company policy and carrying out duties as directed by the Service Manager in a timely manner while holding safety an upmost importance.
-Interpreting work orders and technical manuals
-Documenting serial numbers and recording repair stories on work orders
-Performing general and preventative maintenance services
-Diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical failures
-Notifying the service counter of any additional repairs needed
-Testing and inspecting vehicles to ensure repairs are completed accurately.
-Weekly shop maintenance and clean up
-FULL BENEFITS AFTER 3 MONTHS
-BOOT ALLOWANCE
Required Qualifications:
-Must have own tools
-Previous experience in medium/heavy duty industry
-Must be a team player with a strong sense of commitment to quality service
-Must be safety minded
-Strong mechanical, electrical and hydraulic aptitude
-Automatic Transmission tear down/rebuild experience
Desirable Qualifications:
-Experience with Allison Transmissions an asset
-Class 3 with Air (Q endorsement) would be valuable
-Fork lift ticket an asset
-Machining Knowledge
-Welding experience
