Jacobs is seeking a Digital Solution Delivery Lead to lead and deliver internal and client-facing digital advisory and implementation services across sectors, with a particular emphasis on environment. The role blends strategic consulting, program and project leadership, and hands-on digital solution deployment to help internal teams and clients modernize operations, improve decision-making, and realize measurable efficiency gains.
The ideal candidate is a trusted partner and advisor who can translate business and operational challenges into actionable digital roadmaps, guide technology-enabled programs, and collaborate across environment, IT, and operations teams. This role plays a critical part in positioning Jacobs for long-term, high-value digital programs while also advancing the adoption of Jacobs’ developed digital tools and capabilities
Responsibilities:
Digital Delivery & Advisory
Lead digital engagements for public and private sector clients, including digital strategy development, technology planning, and digital roadmap creation.
Serve as a digital advisor to both internal and client teams, building trusted relationships with executive and technical stakeholders and guiding them through complex organizational and technology change.
Work with the Digital & Data Department lead to set a digital vision for Canada that supports internal efficiencies and aligns operational needs, sales, systems, and the long-term ability to maintain digital in a consistent and cost-effective manner.
Translate conversations with clients and internal stakeholders into actionable outcomes.
Program & Project Leadership
Act as Digital Project Manager or Task Lead on environmentally focused projects, ensuring scope, schedule, budget, and quality expectations are met.
Step into leadership roles during periods of transition to ensure continuity of service for key clients and programs.
Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across environment, IT, systems, and software development disciplines.
Manage risk, stakeholder expectations, and delivery quality.
Digital Solutions & Tool Enablement
Support and advance adoption of digital tools and platforms, including Jacobs developed solutions (e.g., analytics, optimization, automation, and decision support tools).
Partner with digital and non-digital technical teams to demonstrate digital solutions to clients and develop a plan for initial and long-term adoption.
Identify opportunities where digital tools can create measurable efficiency gains, cost savings, or performance improvements.
Business Development & Growth
Contribute to proposal development, including technical approach, digital strategy, and delivery planning.
Identify follow-on opportunities within existing client relationships and support commercial growth strategies.
Here's what you'll need
Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Geographic Information System (GIS), computer science, business, or a related field.
Experience programmatically delivering digital solutions, technology advisory, or enterprise system implementation within environment, utilities, or adjacent industries.
Demonstrated ability to lead digital project teams, client engagements, and manage project-level responsibilities.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage both executive leaders and technical teams.
Experience translating complex technical concepts into clear business value propositions.
Experience building solutions or staffing budgets and leading requirement gathering conversations.
Ideally, you'll also have:
Experience supporting proposal development
Background in software development, data platforms, analytics, or enterprise systems
Demonstrated success delivering measurable outcomes (e.g., efficiency gains, cost savings, improved serv ice delivery)

138,600.00
The base salary range for this position is $88,600.00 to $138,600.00. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across British Columbia, Canada locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
