Videographer (Vancouver-Based)
Overview
We are seeking a skilled and creative Videographer to join our Vancouver-based media team. Our work spans sports, fitness, construction, real estate, and corporate branding, with potential opportunities for international travel depending on experience and performance.
This role is primarily focused on high-level shooting, visual storytelling, lighting, and composition. While basic editing skills are required, this is not an advanced post-production position. We are looking for someone who can confidently capture strong footage that requires minimal correction in post.

Key Responsibilities
- Operate professional Sony camera systems (FX series preferred)
- Capture cinematic and vlog-style content
- Shoot across multiple industries including:
- Sports & training
- Fitness facilities
- Construction sites
- Real estate properties
- Corporate & promotional projects
- Set up and control lighting for various environments
- Frame shots with strong storytelling and composition in mind
- Assist with on-site direction and shot planning
- Capture aerial footage (Drone operation required)
- Perform basic editing:
- Cutting footage
- Simple color adjustments
- Organizing sequences
- Maintain organized file structures and backups
- Meet project timelines and production standards
Requirements
- Proven videography experience (Portfolio required)
- Strong understanding of:
- Lighting setups
- Composition
- Visual storytelling
- Audio capture fundamentals
- Experience shooting with Sony cameras
- Licensed and experienced drone operator
- Basic editing proficiency in:
- Adobe Premiere Pro (preferred) or Final Cut
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Reliable transportation within Metro Vancouver
- Valid passport is an asset for travel projects

- Advanced color grading
- Heavy motion graphics
- High-end visual effects
- Advanced post-production expertise
We prioritize strong footage captured correctly in-camera over heavy editing.
Compensation
