POSITION OVERVIEW

MLSE is seeking a highly motivated Data Developer to join the Digital Labs team. You will be a team member who builds business and financial reports, as well as contributes to the design, development, and maintenance of all database systems, in a variety of environments. You are passionate about working with data, and have a solid foundation in computer science.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Create and maintain PowerBI/SSRS Reports based on business needs.
Develop, implement and optimize stored procedures and functions using SQL.
Work with development / product / security teams to design schemas and create database structures.
Optimize and maintain legacy data related systems and code.
Provide data management support to Digital Labs and the business.
Collaborate with the Data Science and BI teams on required projects.
Development of ingestion code / processes and management of loading data into the data lake.
Continuous improvement of data development ecosystem (store, process, cleanse, use).
Ability to handle common database procedures such as upgrade, backup, recovery, migration, etc.
REQUIREMENTS

Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or relevant field
3+ years' experience as a SQL developer
Intermediate-Expert level in T-SQL
Proficiency with PowerBI and PowerBI Server
An ability to prioritize, organize and handle multiple tasks carefully and accurately
Proficiency understanding code versioning tools such Git
Excellent understanding of Microsoft SQL Server
Knowledge of SSRS, SSAS, and SSIS
Knowledge of Azure
Experience with MongoDB or Graph Databases a plus
Experience with Python a plus
