A Landfill Labourer is responsible for safely and efficiently performing general labour duties at a waste management company, transfer station, materials recycling facility or landfill. Responsibilities may include, but not limited to, such things as yard clean-up , fueling vehicles and equipment, general vehicle operation, general office maintenance and other related duties.
This position is part time seasonal (from April 1 - November 30) on Tuesdays from 8am - 5pm and Saturdays from 8am - 4pm. But may be called in to suit business needs.

· Ability to use tools and equipment (e.g. hand and power tools etc.)

· Should be physically fit, punctual and reliable.
· Ability to work in all weather.
Preferred Qualifications
· High School Diploma or GED
· Valid driver's license
· Must have own transportation
· Must be able/willing to work 12-hour shifts
Principal Responsibilities
· Safely and efficiently perform assigned responsibilities to include such duties as: clean up work areas; fuel vehicles and equipment; clean track on track-type and related equipment; perform yard work including mowing and paper pick-up; operate general site vehicles and equipment such as pickup trucks, sweepers, mowers, trimming equipment etc; perform general office maintenance and repairs including painting and janitorial work; install temporary wind fences as required; direct traffic at the site as necessary.
· Help equipment operators and other skilled labour when necessary.
· Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
- This position is Tuesday and Saturdays only (Seasonal).
- Start Date is April 1, 2026
- We use ADP Workforce Now app for punching in and out.

Pay: From $17.60 per hour
