Overview
West Bros. is a custom wood furniture manufacturer. We make high end furniture for the hospitality industry. We are seeking a dedicated, detail-oriented and experienced wood furniture maker to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our operations by assisting with various tasks related to assembly, fabrication, proto-typing and maintaining the workshop environment. This position requires a blend of mechanical knowledge and hands-on skills. Training will be provided, but basic power tool knowledge/experience is required, as well as wood furniture making experience. A cabinetmaker with experience should be a good fit with some training.
We are looking for someone with experience (furniture making &/or cabinetmaking).
The ideal candidate will be at a production 1 or 2 skill set (Experience is REQUIRED).
Responsibilities
- Assist in the assembly of products using hand tools and power tools.
- Fabricate components as per specifications.
- New design proto-typing per drawings/designer specs
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
- Support inventory management by tracking materials and supplies.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines while working with machinery and in general around the shop.
Skills
- Experience building wooden furniture (an experienced cabinetmaker's skills would work for someone motivated to learn furniture manufacturing)
- Mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand technical instructions.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools for various tasks.
- Experience in assembling and fabricating components is preferred.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment is advantageous.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn and assist team members

The candidate will require previous experience, and wage will reflect your experience.

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
