About the opportunity
As the IT Systems Analyst you are a member of the Information Technology department and as such you will have a variety of responsibilities. You will be responsible for managing the IT infrastructure, the network and associated licensing components.
In addition, you will support the company’s growing IT infrastructure, the overall risk management process, implementation, and continual improvement of ABCRCs’ IT project systems.
Responsibilities
· Install and Maintain Physical as well as Virtualized server environment (Hyper-V) for geographically dispersed locations
· Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems, and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs (backup and patching etc.)
· Design, develop and maintain Active Directory Domain and Group policies
· Perform daily backup operations, ensuring all required file systems and system data are successfully backed up to the appropriate media
· Develop and maintain installation, configuration procedures and known errors database
· Work with IT team to design/develop and implement new hardware and applications
· Perform project management work that ensures future development of the IT implementations for ABCRC
· Develop routines and procedures for end users to facilitate best practice use of tools and applications
· Act as a First point of contact for users and vendors to resolve systems access and performance issues
· Setup user profiles, computers, printers and other hardware and software, as necessary
· Maintain IT assets inventory, patching, mobile device management and overall network and system security from malware, ransomware etc.
· Provide back‐up support to the IT Team
· Play an integral part in development of automation solutions for ABCRC operations using Robotics and PLC’s
Education and Experience Requirements
Minimum of 5 years’ experience supporting Information Technology infrastructure together with strong technical skills and working knowledge of:
· Microsoft Operating Systems (Server 2012, 2016, 2019 & Windows 10)
· Domain Policy Administration
· Microsoft Active Directory
· VEEAM Backup and Replication
· SonicWall Firewall and VPN
· Microsoft Hyper‐V, Clusters
· SAN, NAS (Synology, HP)
· Microsoft Exchange Online & Microsoft 365
· Network and Domain Security
· Inventory and Patch management (PDQ)
· Mobile Device management (JAMF Now)
· Helpdesk, PC and Server Support (in-house and Remote)
· Vendor Management
· Nice to have: PLC Programming (Allen Bradley, Siemens, Omron)
· Nice to have: Moto Suite of Robotics Development
WORKING CONDITIONS
Physical demands: Regular hours at a desk using office equipment and attending meetings. Occasional lifting of supplies and materials.
Environmental Conditions: Manage multiple priorities and tasks and may experience interruptions. The position requires excellent organizational and time management skills, and precise attention to detail.
Mental Demands: Gain a good understanding of departmental requirements with an appreciation of diverse internal and external stakeholder interests.
Travel Demands: Occasional in-Province travel required.
Pay: $80,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
