Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Brunch Server to join our team from 10am to 2pm weekdays. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional guest service, ensure food safety and sanitation standards, and contribute to a welcoming dining experience. This role is perfect for individuals with a passion for hospitality and food service, looking to work during weekday mornings or daytime hours. Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive customer service throughout their dining experience
- Take food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems such as Micros POS
- Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring presentation quality
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling duties
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with food safety regulations
- Assist in food preparation or setup as needed for brunch service
- Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during busy hours
- Ensure guest safety by adhering to proper food handling, sanitation, and safety protocols
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate order delivery and resolve any issues promptly
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly desirable
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to manage multiple tables efficiently using effective time management skills
- Basic math skills for cashiering, billing, and upselling techniques
- Experience in hospitality, serving, or the food industry is a plus but not mandatory for entry-level candidates
