Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista/All Rounder to join our dynamic team. This role involves preparing and serving high-quality beverages, providing excellent customer service, and supporting various operational tasks within our coffee shop. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry, strong multitasking skills, and a commitment to maintaining a welcoming environment for all customers.
Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages and other drinks according to company standards
- Operate Square POS for order processing and cash handling
- Assist with food preparation and food safety procedures to ensure quality and hygiene standards are met
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, and addressing inquiries
- Manage cash register transactions accurately, including cash handling and basic math calculations
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, dining areas, and equipment in compliance with food safety regulations
- Support serving duties during busy periods, including delivering orders to customers when needed
- Restock supplies and assist with inventory management as required
Skills
- Previous experience as a Barista or in food service is preferred
- Proficiency with POS systems is desirable
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse clientele
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours
- Knowledge of food handling safety standards and food safety procedures
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and order calculations
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Experience in serving, food preparation, and general food industry operations is a plus
