Overview
We are seeking a friendly and motivated Crew Member to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced food service environment. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing excellent customer service, maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation, and working efficiently to ensure a positive dining experience for all guests. Duties
- Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and standards
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling
- Provide exceptional customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and ensuring guest satisfaction
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently using POS systems
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen equipment in compliance with food safety regulations
- Assist with food safety practices such as proper food handling and sanitation procedures
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service
- Support team members in various restaurant operations as needed
Skills
- Experience in food preparation, food service, or related roles within the food industry preferred
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy
- Knowledge of POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus
- Excellent time management abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours
- Understanding of food safety standards and sanitation practices
- Previous restaurant experience or kitchen experience is advantageous
- Ability to upsell menu items to enhance sales performance
- Effective communication skills for teamwork and guest interactions
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.60 per hour
