Position Details
We have an exciting new full-time opportunity to join our Calgary team as a Store Associate!
We're looking for an enthusiastic, customer-focused team player who thrives in a fast-paced retail environment. This role is primarily focused on the sales floor, with occasional support picking orders for our warehouse team. You will be the friendly face that helps customers find what they need, offers product guidance, and delivers exceptional service, while also lending a hand with order fulfillment when needed.
Please note: this role requires regular weekend availability, with shifts likely including every Saturday and Sunday (11AM-4PM).

What You'll Do
- Warmly greet customers as they enter the store and assist with product inquiries and demos.
- Ask open-ended questions to understand customers' needs and offer guidance accordingly.
- Manage merchandise displays and ensure products are well-stocked, properly labeled, and visually appealing.
- Operate the POS system accurately for transactions, including cash handling.
- Support inventory management by restocking shelves and monitoring stock levels on the sales floor.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store floor to ensure a safe, efficient shopping environment.
- Provide excellent customer service through clear communication and attentive assistance.
- Explain technical details and features of our various products and equipment to customers.
- Promote new products and inform customers about current promotions.
- Inform customers about our free loyalty program and assist with enrollment.
- Assist with picking and packing customer orders to support our warehouse team.
- Undertake additional duties as needed.
What You'll Bring
- Proficient verbal communication skills in English are required. Bilingual capabilities are beneficial to serve a diverse customer base, but not required.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Adaptability and eagerness to learn new programs, tools, and processes.
- A strong desire to acquire product knowledge and apply it to drive sales.
- Positive attitude with willingness to learn and improve.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Comfortable with physical work, including standing for extended periods and lifting up to 30 lbs.
- Availability to work weekends is required, with shifts likely occurring every Saturday and Sunday.
Qualifications
- Previous experience operating Point of Sale systems is required.
- Previous experience in retail sales or the hair/beauty industry, or a strong interest in the field, is preferred.
- Previous experience picking online orders is preferred.
