Home Childcare Provider

Hours: Minimum 30 hours per week

Job Description
We are seeking a reliable, caring, and responsible Home Child Care Provider to provide attentive care for children in a private household. The ideal candidate will create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment while supporting daily routines and household tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Change diapers and assist with toileting
- Sterilize bottles and prepare infant formulas
- Assume full responsibility for the household in the absence of parents
- Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
- Travel with the family and assist with child supervision and household responsibilities
- Bathe, dress, and feed infants and children
- Support children’s personal hygiene and social development
- Maintain records of daily activities and health information
- Ensure a safe and healthy home environment
- Organize activities such as games and outings
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals
- Prepare children for rest periods
- Supervise and care for children at all times
- Support children’s emotional well-being
- Assist with homework
- Cook meals for the household
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in childcare, caregiving, or a related field is preferred
- Knowledge of childcare practices, including safe handling and personal care
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Compassionate, patient, and dependable
- Strong sense of responsibility and positive attitude
Pay: $21.00 per hour
