Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Heavy Duty Equipment Mechanic/ Journey man or someone with the equivalent experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have mechanical knowledge and experience working with heavy equipment. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and showcase your expertise in maintaining and repairing heavy machinery.
Responsibilities:
- Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical issues on heavy trucks, equipment as well as farm equipment
- Perform routine maintenance tasks including oil changes, filter replacements, and lubrication
- Interpret schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot equipment problems
- Conduct regular inspections to identify worn or damaged parts for replacement
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a mechanic,
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with equipment maintenance
-Ability to perform MB Safeties is an asset
- Proficiency in using hand tools and diagnostic equipment
- Welding experience and a Class 1 is a plus
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to work independently
-Valid Drivers License
Must provide own tools
