GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTIONInside/Counter Salesperson – Calgary, Alberta location.
SUMMARY
Inside Salesperson: We are looking for inside/counter salespeople that are confident, outgoing and work well with others. Applicants must have experience or training in the HVAC/R industry and a knowledge of commercial HVAC systems. Any special knowledge of HVAC/R controls, refrigeration, pneumatics, burners, etc is especially attractive.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Increase sales by maintaining contact with current and potential customers.
- Provide technical support.
- Handle counter sales at all Yorkland locations as directed.
- Assist in the development & implementation of product marketing initiatives.
- Follow-up on marketing and sales activities by direct mail, email and telephone.
- Develop and maintain current control market/sales databases
- Recommend to the organization any customer training requests
- Work closely with sales and customer service individuals to develop accounts sales plans and activities
- Coordinate with suppliers to identify controls’ market needs
- Participate in company training
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience with MS Word/Excel & other MS Office products
