The Manitoba government is seeking a highly motivated Parking Ticket Clerk to work with Accommodation Services Division in Winnipeg. Conditions of Employment:
Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
Must be able to provide and maintain a Satisfactory Criminal Records Check

Successful completion of financial business course or training and/or experience overseeing accounts payable, accounts receivable, purchase orders, and receiving and reconciling daily payments. A suitable combination of education and experience may be considered
Experience providing administrative support, including reception, data entry, processing mail and responding to inquiries
Experience processing and overseeing sensitive and confidential information
Experience with Microsoft Office (including Word, Excel & Outlook)
Written communication skills in creating correspondence for both internal and external stakeholders
Interpersonal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external clients
Analytical skills with the ability to make good decisions and solve problems
Organizational and time management skills
Ability to take initiative and work independently to meet deadlines

Experience working in a legal and/or regulatory enforcement setting and working with associated legal and court documentation
Experience working with SAP, or any comparable finance or database software

Under the guidance and direction of the Parking Manager, this position is primarily responsible for the administration of the PARTS (Parking Ticket System) Software Application and Ticket maintenance input of data relating to the Parking Control Program, IE: Ticket payments, Notice of Default Conviction, Letter of Intent, Balance owing letters. The position is also responsible for reconciling parking ticket receivables on a daily basis, and overseeing Accounts Payable including creating Purchase Orders, Requisitioner and ensuring proper authorities for processing invoices.
