Responsibilities
- Prepare pizza dough, sauces, and toppings according to established recipes and standards
- Cook pizzas to perfection using ovens and other kitchen equipment
- Ensure all food preparation meets food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Assist in food handling, meal preparation, and maintaining cleanliness of the kitchen area
- Serve customers with a friendly attitude, taking orders accurately and efficiently
- Maintain stock levels of ingredients and notify management of supply needs
- Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure quality and safety
- Collaborate with team members to deliver a positive dining experience for guests
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service within a restaurant or food industry setting
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
- Strong skills in meal preparation and kitchen operations
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent serving skills with a friendly, customer-focused attitude
- Experience with restaurant or kitchen experience preferred but not required
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks effectively
