Overview
We are seeking an energetic and motivated Automotive/Heavy Duty Customer Service Advisor to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the friendly face of our shop, providing outstanding customer service while guiding clients through their vehicle or trailer needs. Your mechanical knowledge and dealership experience will help you communicate effectively with customers and upsell services confidently. This is a paid position that offers an exciting opportunity to grow your career in the industry.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assess their vehicle service needs with enthusiasm and professionalism
- Communicate technical information clearly and accurately, explaining repair options and costs to customers
- Schedule appointments and manage customer flow efficiently to maximize shop productivity
- Upsell additional services or repairs based on mechanical assessments and customer needs
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including invoicing and payment processing
- Collaborate with mechanics to understand vehicle issues and ensure customer expectations are met
- Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, service histories, and sales
- Work as a team to have minimal downtime for our customers
Experience
- Dealership experience or background working in an automotive sales or service environment preferred
- Mechanical knowledge gained through experience as a mechanic or related role
- Familiarity with automotive or heavy duty repair processes and terminology
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities
- Experience handling cash transactions accurately and responsibly
