Key Accountabilities Compensation Administration
- Administer Base salary, Short Term Incentives, Mid-Term Incentives and Long-Term Incentives programs.
- Develop and implement comprehensive analytical solutions/tools for compensation administration.
- Provide data and insights in support of the annual salary planning and Budget process.
- Structure, analyze, and interpret large amounts of data using statistical methods.
- Develop and maintain compensation administration documentation
- Revise and develop job descriptions with leaders for accuracy and alignment with organizational standards and maintain a job description inventory.
- Ensure all compensation practices comply with relevant laws, regulations, and best practices.
Analysis of Market Data
- Analyze the compensation of employees and identify areas of risk to department leads.
- Develop and maintain competitive and equitable pay structures through annual or more frequent review and analysis.
- Recommend participation in external compensation surveys, coordinate and submit salary survey data, and summarize market data for business use.
- Develop analytical models and reports using Excel or other appropriate tools to deliver insightful, consistent data analyses for faster decision-making.
- Market price new and updated jobs as required.
Analytical and Operational Support
- Manage the integrity of compensation data, assist with system configuration and upgrades, and maintain and update plan documents as necessary.
- Make recommendations for continuous improvement in compensation processes through streamlining and automation.
- Make recommendations for improvement of processes that affect the quality of data in HCM.
- Specify and complete audits for data validation and governance purposes.
- Analyze and maintain job and position codes/titles in Fusion HCM.
- Administer vendor accounts and invoices.
Education and Communication
- Provide clear communication regarding compensation processes to employees and leaders.
- Develop and deliver compensation education sessions to help employees understand their total compensation package.
Qualifications
Education:
- Post-secondary diploma in human resources, business, or a related discipline; or equivalent related HR/compensation education/work experience required.
- Professional designation in a related field considered an asset (e.g., CCP, CHRL).
Experience:
- 5-8 years of relevant work experience in compensation.
- Experience with sales incentive programs and short and long-term incentive plans is considered an asset.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint), with advanced Excel skills.
- Bilingualism is an asset.
