Retail Sales Associate – Tea & Lifestyle Brand

We are looking for a friendly, motivated, responsible, and energetic Retail Sales Associate to join our team at our tea and teaware store in Markham.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys interacting with customers, has a strong sense of responsibility, and is interested in sales, photography, social media, and lifestyle content.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and assist customers in-store
- Introduce and recommend tea, teaware, gifts, and new products
- Provide excellent customer service and create a welcoming shopping experience
- Achieve sales goals and earn commission based on performance
- Maintain a clean, organized, and attractive store environment
- Assist with product displays, inventory, and daily store operations
- Take photos and videos of products and store activities
- Create and publish social media posts on platforms such as Xiaohongshu, Instagram, and TikTok
- Assist with promotional events and brand activities
Requirements
- Fluent in both Mandarin Chinese and English – strong communication skills in both languages are required
- Friendly, approachable, and comfortable communicating with customers
- Responsible, reliable, punctual, and hardworking
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude and strong initiative
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Photography skills and experience creating or publishing social media posts are required
- Familiar with Xiaohongshu, Instagram, TikTok, or other social media platforms
- Professional appearance and good personal grooming
- Strong sense of personal presentation and professional image management
- Retail or sales experience is an asset
- Interest in tea, teaware, lifestyle, photography, or Chinese culture is a plus

Compensation
Competitive hourly wage + sales commission
