Our busy retail store is looking for a Gift Department Sales Associate with a stellar eye for interior design and visual merchandising. In this role, you will do much more than ring up customers. You will help curate the look and feel of our department, transform spaces for seasonal changes, and create stunning product displays that inspire our guests.Key Responsibilities
Working under our Lead Department Associate, you will perform the following tasks:
- Visual Merchandising: Creatively arrange giftware, home decor, and seasonal items.
- Display Management: Execute full setup and teardown of promotional floor displays.
- Seasonal Changeovers: Transition the department for major holidays and seasons.
- Customer Engagement: Welcoming guests, answering style questions, and driving sales.
- Inventory Care: Stocking, and organizing incoming gift inventory. Unpacking and pricing as necessary.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Design Savvy: Proven eye for interior design, color coordination, and spatial layout.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stay on your feet comfortably for an entire 8-hour shift.
- Mobility: Must be able to safely climb up and down stairs frequently throughout the day.
- Availability: Absolute willingness to work all weekends, peak holiday retail periods and occasional special evening events (Ladies Nights Etc.).
- Energy: High-energy personality with a proactive, self-motivated work ethic.
Pay: $17.60-$20.00 per hour
