Job Overview
We are looking for a skilled and energetic Journeyman Millwright to join our dynamic manufacturing facility team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing complex machinery and equipment across our current builds. Your expertise will ensure optimal operational efficiency, safety, and reliability of our industrial systems. - Install, align, and assemble machinery using schematics, technical drawings, and precision measuring instruments.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on manufacturing equipment, including hydraulics, and high/low voltage electrical components.
- Diagnose mechanical issues utilizing analysis skills and troubleshoot problems with tools such as pressure gauges and flow meters.
- Repair or replace faulty components, hydraulics, bearings, pumps, and motors.
- Conduct field service tasks involving hydraulic repairs and troubleshooting.
- Provide support to customers by providing expert maintenance advice and technical support.
- Follow safety protocols related to high voltage systems, high pressure systems, electrical work, and industrial mechanics to maintain a safe working environment.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an industrial mechanic or millwright within a manufacturing facility environment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret schematics and technical diagrams.
- Hands-on experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), electrical systems (including low voltage), hydraulics, and industrial maintenance practices.
- Ability to operate industrial equipment safely.
- Excellent analysis skills with the ability to troubleshoot hydraulic and mechanical issues efficiently.
- Effective communication skills in English for clear documentation and teamwork.
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to high voltage systems, high and low pressure hydraulic systems, millwright practices, and field service operations.
