Miller Precast Ltd. has immediate openings for general labour. The position performs the following tasks:
- Setup/strip formwork
- Place/tie reinforcing
- Pour concrete
- Operate production equipment
- Move products with overhead cranes, forklifts, etc.
- Concrete repairs, patching, etc.
- Sorting and packing materials
- Plant clean up
The successful candidate will have the following skills/abilities:
- Ability to operate standard power tools such as drills, miter saws, table saws, sawalls, grinders, etc.
- Ability to use basic hand tools such as hammers, screwdrivers, pliers, etc.
- Ability to perform physical work
- Manufacturing or general construction experience considered an asset
- Concrete construction experience (forming, pouring, rebar, etc.) considered a definite asset
- Ability to work outside in different types of weather

The position is full time, Monday to Friday. Pay is $27-$32/hr + benefits and pension, overtime after 44 hours per week. All work is performed at the plant and no travel or out of town work is required.
