As a warehouse associate you are an important member of our team and our customers’ experience!
Associates in our fulfilment centres perform a variety tasks that support our customers getting well cared for, carefully packaged orders. In your role, you would work in various areas of our business including breakdown, put away, replenishment, picking, packing, staging, loading, shipping.
Receive vendor purchase orders; regular lines or special orders, or customer returns
Complete stock put away and replenishment
Complete discrepancy reporting where vendor shipment is inaccurate and informs Inventory Control
Pick product for customer orders accurately and efficiently
Check SKU and quantities picked for customer orders to ensure accuracy, and re-package or wrap orders as needed
Complete staging tasks in preparation for loading
Load vehicles to agreed shipping requirements
Utilise RF scanners and readers in the completion of daily tasks
Perform basic housekeeping in assigned areas of warehouse
Complete all tasks accurately and efficiently and to specified deadlines
Adheres to all safety procedures in the performance of job duties
High school diploma or GED
Good PC, math, writing and reading skills
Ability to become certified in the operation of warehouse equipment
Physical Demands / Working Conditions
Work requires moderate physical effort and use of motor skills requiring manual dexterity. While performing duties of this job, employee will regularly sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel and crouch. Employee may lift, lower, carry product up to a maximum of 64 pounds (30Kg) by hand.
Works in a warehouse environment. While performing the duties of this job the employee will regularly operate warehouse equipment. Using proper safety procedures will eliminate any potential hazards. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
May be required to work a flexible schedule and be available based on the needs of the business.
Prior experience operating warehouse equipment, such as forklift, pallet jack and cherry picker beneficial
