Part-Time Commercial CleanerOverview
cleancan is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Commercial Cleaner to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals who take pride in maintaining clean, safe, and welcoming environments. We are looking for someone who is dependable, works well independently, and is committed to delivering high-quality cleaning services.
Position Details
Location: Barton Street East & Ottawa Street North, Hamilton, ON
Schedule: Bi-weekly (Every Other Sunday)
Hours: Approximately 2–3 hours per service
Employment Type: Part-Time Employee
Responsibilities
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust designated areas
- Clean and sanitize washrooms, kitchen areas, and common spaces
- Maintain cleanliness of floors, surfaces, entrances, and fixtures
- Empty garbage and replace liners as required
- Follow company cleaning procedures and safety protocols
- Ensure all assigned areas meet CleanCan's quality standards
- Report maintenance concerns or safety hazards to management
Requirements
- Previous commercial or residential cleaning experience is an asset
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Reliable and punctual
- Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, bending, lifting, and walking for extended periods
- Must be able to travel to the work location independently
- Positive attitude and professional demeanor
