Rockhard Excavating is a fast growing company with a positive atmosphere that specializes in residential and commercial Civil Construction projects. We are well established in the Okanagan and have been operating for 10+ years.
We are looking for experienced and reliable heavy equipment operators to join our team for a full time permanent position.
Requirements:
- 2+ years experience running excavators, skid steers, loaders and packers
-2+ years experience in the Civil Excavation industry - building roads, digging/backfilling foundations, digging /backfilling for utility mainlines and service installation
- 2+ years experience digging around live utilities
- Willingness to get out of equipment and assist ground crews as required
- Knowledge of proper equipment care and maintenance procedures
-Knowledge of WCB standards for safe excavations an asset
-Knowledge of general geotechnical requirements an asset
-Ability to read and interpret civil and foundation drawings an asset
-A valid drivers license and own vehicle
Wages range from $30.00-$40.00 per hour and are negotiable based on experience level.
