Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. This role is essential in preparing high-quality dishes and ensuring smooth kitchen operations. Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to recipes and quality standards
- Assist with food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and portioning ingredients
- Cook menu items efficiently while maintaining consistency and presentation standards
- Follow food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures at all times
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and workstations
- Support the team during busy service hours to ensure timely delivery of orders
- Adhere to sanitation policies and health regulations to ensure a safe dining environment
- Assist in inventory management by rotating stock and notifying management of supplies needed
Experience
- Previous experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service is preferred
- Restaurant or kitchen experience demonstrating knowledge of food industry standards is advantageous
- Familiarity with meal preparation techniques and food safety practices is highly desirable
- Experience with serving customers in a fast-paced environment is a plus
- Knowledge of proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and quality standards are met
