Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly, energetic, and professional Bartender/Server to join our dynamic hospitality team. The ideal candidate will excel in providing exceptional customer service, creating a welcoming atmosphere, and efficiently managing food and beverage orders. This role involves serving guests, mixing drinks, and ensuring a memorable dining experience while maintaining food safety and cleanliness standards. Previous restaurant experience and familiarity with POS systems are preferred to ensure smooth operations and excellent guest interactions.
Responsibilities
- Take food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems such as Micros POS
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of hospitality and customer service
- Mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages responsibly as per standard recipes
- Ensure proper food handling, safety, and sanitation procedures are followed at all times
- Manage cash handling and cashiering duties accurately during shifts
- Assist in setting up the bar area before service begins and clean up after closing
- Engage with guests to create a welcoming environment, addressing any special requests or concerns
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, daily specials, and beverage offerings to assist guests effectively
- Uphold food safety standards and ensure compliance with health regulations
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations during busy hours
Requirements
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment preferred; hospitality background is a plus
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables and orders efficiently
- Basic math skills for cash handling, billing, and change calculation
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
- Must be personable, attentive, reliable, and able to work well within a team setting
Pay: $20.70-$23.66 per hour
