Duties
- Distribute pamphlets and promotional materials throughout designated areas at the Yorkton Summer Fair.
- Engage with visitors in a friendly and professional manner to inform them about upcoming events and activities.
- Utilize strong communication skills to effectively convey key messages about the fair.
- Assist with product demos or demonstrations when required to attract attention and provide information.
- Collect feedback or questions from attendees to relay back to the event organizers.
- Maintain a positive attitude and professional appearance while representing the fair.
- Support other promotional activities as needed to ensure a successful event experience.
Experience
- Previous experience in marketing, sales, or customer service is preferred but not required.
- Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to effectively communicate with diverse community members.
- Excellent communication skills, including public speaking and active listening, are essential.
- Experience in conducting product demos or engaging in public speaking will be considered an asset.
- Friendly, outgoing personality with a proactive approach to engaging with the public.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions during the duration of the fair.
