Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate ECEA (Early Childhood Education Assistant) or ECE (Early Childhood Educator) full time professional to join our team. This role is essential in providing quality care and education to children in various classroom settings. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children, including those with disabilities, and possess a strong background in early childhood education. This position requires flexibility and the ability to respond to staffing needs as they arise.
Duties
- Provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children.
- Implement educational activities that promote learning and development.
- Support children’s individual needs, including those with disabilities.
- Assist in classroom management and maintain a positive atmosphere.
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure the best outcomes for children.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children's progress.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications
- Experience working with children in a classroom or caregiving setting is required.
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices is essential.
- Familiarity with strategies for supporting children with disabilities is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- A passion for educating and nurturing young minds.
- Flexibility to work on an on-call basis as needed.
