Employment Support Worker
We are seeking a flexible and organized Employment Support Worker to provide coverage and support across our Employment Services team. This role assists staff during absences and helps ensure clients continue receiving quality support and services.
Responsibilities
- Provide coverage for Facilitators, Case Managers, and Employment Navigators as needed.
- Assist clients with employment readiness, job search support, resumes, and referrals.
- Support case management duties, documentation, data entry and client follow-ups.
- Coordinate and schedule client intakes for employment program.
- Assist with workshops and employment-related programming.
- Additional program related duties as directed by the program Supervisor
- Report directly to the Supervisor.
Qualification Requirements:
- Strong facilitation and Case Management experience is an asset
- Excellent computer skills, Microsoft office, Office 365, experience working in a database
- Must have strong organizational skills, including verbal and written communication
- Conflict resolution and strong problem solving
- Human Services Diploma or equivalent, willing to train right candidate
- All applicants must have proof of vaccination
- All successful applicants must provide a criminal record check and child intervention check within the last 6 months
- Drivers abstract and proof of insurance must be provided
Salary and Benefits:
- Salary $49,100.00 - $51,555.00 Annually
- Monthly auto allowance
- Paid sick and wellness days after 3 months’ probation (pro-rated)
- Extended Health Benefit (50/50 cost sharing) after 6 months’ employment
- Working approximately 34.5 hours per week
