Sushi Yeon is a modern Japanese fusion restaurant located in Toronto's Harbourfront community, specializing in premium sushi and creative Japanese cuisine.
We are currently expanding our team and are looking for experienced and passionate individuals for the following positions:
Positions Available
- Sushi Bar Staff
- Kitchen Cook (Sous Chef or Head Chef experience preferred)
Full-time and Part-time positions available
Responsibilities
Sushi Bar Staff
- Prepare sushi rolls and assist with daily sushi bar operations
- Maintain quality, freshness, and presentation standards
- Prepare ingredients and keep the sushi station clean and organized
- Follow food safety and sanitation procedures
- Work efficiently with the team in a fast-paced environment
Kitchen Cook
- Prepare hot kitchen menu items according to recipes
- Assist with menu development and daily kitchen operations
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and food safety standards
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Support kitchen leadership and overall workflow
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a Japanese restaurant is preferred
- Experience working in a sushi bar or professional kitchen
- Sous Chef or Head Chef experience is a strong asset for kitchen applicants
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Reliable, punctual, and organized
- Passion for Japanese cuisine
