Looking for steady outdoor work with growth opportunities? We are currently hiring certified Traffic Control Persons (TCPs) Flaggers for upcoming work based out of Kamloops and surrounding regions within the province. This role includes being part of our out-of-town road crew. We are looking for someone to Join Western Traffic and be part of a team that keeps people safe and traffic moving. Western Traffic has exciting opportunities in our Traffic Control team .
Western Traffic –Based out of Kamloops, but covers BC & surrounding areas (local and out-of-town work)
Wage: $28.00-$30.00/hr
What You’ll Do
-Set up and manage traffic control zones
-Direct traffic safely using clear signals
-Adjust signs, cones, and equipment as needed
-Keep worksites safe for crews and the public
-Communicate with your team and report any issues
- You will ensure the safety and flow of traffic in work zones.
-You will be responsible for setting up traffic control zones, adjusting work zone equipment, and responding to emergencies and hazards.
-You will also play a critical role in upholding quality, delivery, safety, and responsiveness requirements, ensuring that the company's operations run smoothly and without incidents.

What You Need
Valid BC TCP Certification
Strong communication skills
Reliable, safety-first attitude
Ability to work outdoors in all weather

Someone who has experience being a lead on projects.
Experience on highways and multi zone projects
Reliable and punctual
Ability to work long hours and in varying weather conditions
Strong communication skills and ability to work with crews and the public
Must have reliable transportation to work
